Compatibility: Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy

This is an adorable and loving cat named Dizzy. My husband and I both have cats, and sadly, after 5 months of us trying many, many different methods, they cannot get along. Dizzy got along with a female cat before, and mine is a male, so perhaps that is the problem? Dizzy is incredibly affectionate with people, and has never had any health problems.

American Shorthair Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Cats, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Zorro is a gorgeous, glossy black male cat who showed up at our farm about a month ago (on the heels of Sheba who is also posted on Rescue Me). Like Sheba, Zorro took only a couple of days of feeding to become really lovable and let us pick him up and cuddle him. If I could keep him, I would because he is a sweetheart! We went ahead and enhanced his adoptability by having him neutered and checked for any communicable diseases. He has also had his initial round of vaccinations including rabies. I really hope someone will give this guy a home!

American Shorthair Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Cats, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed

Sheba showed up at our farm about a month ago. We fed her and within a couple of days she was letting us pet and hold her which suggests that she may have lived with humans before she got dumped. She is a sweet kitty with beautiful green eyes. We went ahead and had her spayed so that it would be easier to find her a home, and the vet also checked for any communicable diseases (like kitty AIDS). She got a clean bill of health. We may be moving out of state and would not be able to have pets where we would be living so it is really important that we find her a good home!

Hello! Someone said I look like a Russian White (like a Russian Blue - the solid gray cats, but Russian Whites are, ... you guessed it, ... solid WHITE). I was abandoned all alone in the wilderness outside near a church and a graveyard on Poplar Springs Rd in Cookeville/Overton Co, TN. I was SO scared! There were coyotes, hunting dogs, giant day and night time predator birds, all kinds of bitey insects & parasites, motor vehicles, farm machinery, loud noises that I did not know what was (gunshots, etc). But then I heard some people talking who did not sound scary. I came out of hiding and started talking to them, but they seemed to ignore ... (Read More)me. So, I started screaming/talking to make sure they saw me! Once I knew they were watching me, I tried to go across a pond to get to them as fast as I could. But I did not know what a pond was, and that green stuff on top was not solid, so I sank into water, even MORE scary! The lady across the pond screamed and was running to get to me to rescue me. The man with her said something about I was going to be turtle bait if I tried to swim across. I didn't know there were giant dinosaur turtles that would eat me! Thankfully, I did not sink too deep in the water and managed to crawl back to land, but was covered in green & black slimy stuff. Anyway, that is how I got my name, Sailor. The lady picked me up and cuddled me secure and close, then took me to the cabin across the pond, got me dry, and offered me canned cat food - YUM! I was SO hungry that I growled as I ate it. After a couple of days, the lady took me to work with her and had this combo test thing done (Neg for both FeLV & FIV), and a fecal test (nothing found, but I got dewormed anyway, just in case). Then I got my 1st FVRCP and 1st Leukemia vaccines. I have to get my boosters 4 weeks from 1st set when I will also get tutored (neutered) & rabies vaccinated. Then I'll be all ready to find a PURRfect home where I will be a loved and cherished family member and never have to worry about being afraid, alone, & abandoned again. Maybe that home will be with YOU! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-08-27-00226Coalie, Bobby, Flaxen (male)

American Shorthair Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Hello! Our mom is an outdoor stray - she is not a wild/feral, but she is very cautious about people and everything because she is a smart mom! She got combo tested, spayed, and vaccinated and then went back to live where we all came from. We were young enough that the Feline Felicity lady decided to take us in and try to get us more used to people so that we could be adopted and hopefully have an easier life than our mom has. Coalie is the blue silver gray tabby. Flaxen is the smallest and very pale orange - almost like blonde/buff/apricot tabby. And Bobby is the darker orange and of course, bobtail, hence his name. We all get along great ... (Read More)and have been introduced to other adult cats from 1 yr olds to seniors as well as a couple of very cat-friendly dogs who are about 45-55 lbs. We prefer people who are very cat experienced since we were born as feral kittens. And we do not like a lot of unpredictable chaos in the home, so young children and lots of coming and going company and stuff would probably not be good for us. We have all been combo tested negative, dewormed, have flea prevention applied, have three sets of fvrcp vaccines, our rabies vaccine, and two sets of leukemia vaccines. So, our annual exams and vaccines will not be due again until 2018. If you do not have any other cats, we would love to be adopted together so at least there are two of us and we will have a kitty friend all the time. We love to play, and we like company. We are still getting used to human companionship and will probably grow more loving toward people over time. As of right now, Coalie is the most attached to Ms Felicity. He sometimes talks to her and will give her little affectionate licks. Flaxen is the smallest and kind of a high-pitched cry-baby sometimes ... especially for food or attention. Bobby is brave and adventurous and has a human foot fetish, so you have to be careful he is not winding around your feet/legs when you are trying to walk. We are all very good boys about using the litter box - we use an extra large uncovered box and prefer the pine pellet natural litter (Tractor Supply's equine pine pellets in the 40# bag are the most cost effective) and we mainly eat TSC's 4Health All Life Stages or Purina One Indoor Advantage. We love just about any canned food. All we want for the 2017 is our forever tlc responsible family and indoor home! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-08-27-00210Twinkle (male)

American Shorthair Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Abused/Neglected

Hi! I'm Twinkle. I'm not abused, just neglected - have been mostly shut in a small bathroom alone with one window for almost two years now. I showed up at the back of a property with a small covered shed-like area where straw bales were stored (the straw was put in dog houses for the outdoor dogs to help keep them warm). Little did the people know that I was watching them when they went out to take care of and feed the dogs. I soon made myself known because I was just a kitten, and it was getting so much colder. I needed help and wanted more food than I could catch or find as winter came on. The people tried to make sure I had warmer, more ... (Read More)sheltered spots under there and they added canned food to my dry food when it got below freezing. They were afraid I would die because I was so small, young, and on my own - but they kept trying to win my trust. Finally, I started looking forward to seeing the people, not just the food & fresh water, and I would come out a little and meow to greet them. On warmer days, I would come out fully visible in the back yard and play and play in the sun and even nap in the sunlight out in the open. In April, I was trapped and taken to a place where I was combo tested negative, neutered, fvrcp & rabies vaccinated, and left-ear-tipped. Now I have decided once I get to know you, I LOVE kind and gentle people attention! I want to find some people and an indoor-only home to call mine! Could it be you? (Less)

about 10 months old. mom was a stray/feral. a kind lady in Smyrna was providing food and water and built outdoor shelter for us. the lady contacted Feline Felicity to help her trap and spay/neuter/vaccinate all of us.
